Dr. Westin Childs is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who left clinical practice to focus entirely on thyroid patients. He founded Restart Medical and restartmed.com, which publishes over 600 referenced articles, 700 videos, 388 podcast episodes, and 49 free thyroid tools, and reaches more than 5 million visitors a year. He has formulated over 20 thyroid-specific supplements, including the first topical thyroid hormone cream, and designed four devices, including the Thyro Light, the first red light therapy device created for the thyroid gland. He has published three white papers on photobiomodulation, transdermal T2, and leptin resistance in thyroid patients, and he maintains the largest online directory of doctors who prescribe T3 and NDT.
